Enbridge’s Line 3 Oil Pipeline Violates Manoomin's Rights & Treaty Rights!

Manoomin (Wild Rice) is a wild regenerative food with many important cultural, environmental and health benefits. But a new tar sands oil pipeline would cross important waters and watersheds where Manoomin grows, threatening its future. In an effort to stand up for the rights of Manoomin, Frank Bibeau, treaty rights attorney for White Earth Band of Ojibwe, is suing the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) stating that the Enbridge’s Line 3 oil pipeline violates manoomin’s rights, as well as treaty rights. This lawsuit is an important step in fighting colonization, and it urgently needs your support.
